Dear Dr. Merck,

Are the threads really lasting through ANYTHING?
In the solarium there is extreme heat and radiation, there are tanning booths where it gets really, really hot. Is there a point where the threads begin to melt? Or is there the possibility that the threads heat up inside the ear and burn it from the inside?

Best regards, Michael

Dear Michael,

You don't need to worry. The threads made from Prolene, which I use, can handle anything, even the heat from any solarium. They do not absorb heat either, and so it is impossible that your ears could be burnt from the inside.
