Dear Dr. Merck,

I would like to know if the operations are exclusively done by yourself or if other doctors are operating in your clinic as well.
Because I play a lot of sport, I would also like to know if the ear will still be OK if a ball hurts my ear once or if someone yanks my ear.

Kind regards

Dear Kathi,

The procedure is performed by me, or one of the excellently trained surgeons in my team.
If a ball hurts your ear once or someone yanks your ear after the operation, nothing will happen. The thread can take it. It is unbreakable.

Kind regards,
Priv.Doz.Dr.med.W.Merck

Does it influence anything, if the patient has her menstruation the day of the operation?

Dear Guest,

Menstruation has no influence on the operation.

Best regards,
