Dear Mr. Dr. Merck,

I've been thinking about getting my ears corrected for some time now. They aren't extremly protruding, but I've been bothered about them for a long time.
Now I have the following question:
Are there any limitations for pinning the ears closer to the head?
Thanks for your answer.

Kind regards,
Sylvia

Dear Sylvia,

With the stitch method it's possible to bring the ears to the head as closely as you like, but it should never be so close that someone looking at you from the front can't see them. This would not look nice and would be conspicuous to other people.

Kind regards,

But theoretically it is possible to pin my ears very close to my head? I'm afraid I won't be satisfied with the results, otherwise. Yet I want it to look natural.

Dear Guest,

It's possible and I always try to fulfil my patients' wishes as, after all, they are the ones who have to live with the ears and they see themselves everyday in the mirror, not me.

Kind regards,
