Hello Dr. Merck,
If you read about the stitch method in the different fora, you get very confused. There, they say that you can only be operated on with the stitch method if your ears are not protruding strongly, and if the cartilage is not too thick. You, however, claim on your websit, that all ears can be operated on, even ear lobes. Which statement is true?

Dear Ralf Schmid,
With the Dr. Merck stitch method, all ears and earlobes can be operated on, no matter how strongly they protrude and how thick the cartilage is.
You might find other statements, which are due to the fact that the experts posting there do not know my method and confuse it with the old method according to Mustardé or a variation of it. Among those experts is Professor Heppt whom I've asked to correct his statements. He promised to visit me and have a look at my method.
