I was operated with the old method four times. Everyone can see that I've had otoplasty. My ears are far too close to the head, the fold is angular and doesn't continue straight through. Can you reverse this with the stitch method? |

Dear Brigitte H.
I've taken a look at the photos you sent me per email. Your ears are indeed too close to the head, especially in the middle and at the bottom. In addition to that, they have edges and scars as a result of the operations with the traditional method.
Unfortunately, the stitch method can't make ears that are too close to the head protrude again, because their position is fixed by large scars from the operation with the old method. If your ears had been operated on with the stitch method, it would have been possible to do this by taking out the stitches and placing new stitches that were less tight.
The other changes to your ears are not reversible, either. The only chance would be to cut open the area behind the ear and undo the scars. You would have to have this done with the surgeon who operated on you before.
I am very sorry that I have no other answer for you.
Best regards,
