Dear Dr. Merck,

I only have one protruding ear. The reason is a depauperate antihelix fold from birth. It's protruding in the upper part. The rest is normally developed. Is it possible to adjust the ear in the upper part with your stitch method?
How long would the procedure of that operation take?

thanks in advance

Marcus

Dear Marcus,

Approx. 15 percent of the ears I operate on are only on one side. With the stitch method, I will form your anthelix in the upper part. After the operation, your ear will look totally natural; like a normal-looking and well-shaped ear. Nobody will see any stitches or that it was once an ear which needed to be operated on.

Kind regards,
